I build my furniture from Maine-sourced lumber, some of which is repurposed. My pieces are "bench made", meaning that they are made one at a time using traditional methods, including green woodworking and hand-made dovetails. I typically use several layers of different-colored milk as a finish, giving a time-worn look.
I replicate those early American pieces that I feel are beautifully designed, well made, and will withstand the test of time.

About us - Location
I’ve had a lifelong interest in both furniture building and early Americana. My principal hobby of woodworking evolved into a small business when I retired; you can find me most days working in my shop.
A customer at a craft show once asked me if I had a gallery. “Well, the term ‘gallery’ is a bit grand”, I said. “It’s more like an upstairs room in my barn.”
